Say hello to the very beautiful Grace. Everything about this little girl makes me smile!  She looks like a baby doll and is as sweet and happy as could be. One of Grace’s newborn session images is the very first image that you see when you land on my Columbus Ohio newborn photography website here and she is throughout my portfolio as well.  I love every image from her newborn session and can’t believe I didn’t have the time to blog about it here last fall. I just couldn’t let it happen again after her 6 month portrait session. I am a baby photographer in Columbus Ohio and 6 months old  is a baby stage that I adore photographing. There is so much to capture and too much cuteness here to keep it to myself.

My March and April calendars were booked solid with gorgeous newborn photography sessions that happened to be the new baby brothers and baby sisters of  previous newborns of mine. Hannah was no exception and I loved every minute of her session.  You can see here big sister, Kayla here.

Baby Michaiah’s six month portraits were the perfect way to kick off my new year. His family just relocated to Ohio and I couldn’t be more excited that they chose me as their Columbus, Ohio baby photographer.   As much as I love my newborn sessions it is always a welcomed and fun change of pace to entertain these six month old little ones and celebrate their growth.  This little guy was was sweet as he is adorable. His smiles, his bright eyes, and the way he curled his tiny toes are all so meaningful and symbolic of this amazing milestone that it is only right that this time be documented. It has been several weeks since his session was packaged with a big blue bow and handed off to his family, I am looking forward to seeing him again (and his big sister) in just a couple months.

Meet little Hudson. I had to share his session because I simply adore the special image of  his mom with him. She is so beautiful and so in love with her baby boy, and their image together captures that connection perfectly. Another highlight from Hudson’s newborn session was the AMAZING smile that he gave me while he was posed on his back. Although I see a smile in the majority of my sessions, I still savor those moments. There is something so precious about a newborn baby sharing a huge smile. Newborn smiles tell me that they are comfortable and ready to go into a deep sleep, so those smiles make my heart happy in more ways than just one.  I posed, photographed, and posed some more while Hudson rested. I couldn’t have asked for a better, more handsome newborn model.

I am determined to update this newborn blog in order to share many of the beautiful newborn babies of central Ohio that I photographed in 2012 .

I am starting the series with little Liam. He was as sweet as he was gorgeous, and a pleasure to photograph. Often I am asked if I do sibling pictures during my newborn sessions. The answer is always OF COURSE!! I have a very successful strategy behind the most sought after images of a mother that is welcoming her second (third or fourth) child.  Unfortunately, often times I don’t share those images publicly, because they are the most beloved images and always make their way onto the birth announcements. Out of courtesy to my clients, I withhold those cherished images so that the birth announcements, that I design, can be a surprise to their family and friends. Luckily, this little guy is nearly 6 months old now, so I can gladly share the gorgeous image of his older brother and him.
